TOPIC: Good Issues Occur To Dangerous Folks (DCLM Every day Manna 8 June 2022)

TEXT: Job 21:1-21 (KJV)

1 However Job answered and stated,

2 Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations.

3 Endure me that I could converse; and after that I’ve spoken, mock on.

4 As for me, is my grievance to man? and if it have been so, why shouldn’t my spirit fret?

5 Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

6 Even once I keep in mind I’m afraid, and trembling taketh maintain on my flesh.

7 Wherefore do the depraved reside, develop into outdated, yea, are mighty in energy?

8 Their seed is established of their sight with them, and their offspring earlier than their eyes.

9 Their homes are secure from worry, neither is the rod of God upon them.

10 Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.

11 They ship forth their little ones like a flock, and their kids dance.

12 They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice on the sound of the organ.

13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a second go right down to the grave.

14 Subsequently they are saying unto God, Depart from us; for we need not the data of thy methods.

15 What’s the Almighty, that we should always serve him? and what revenue ought to we have now, if we pray unto him?

16 Lo, their good shouldn’t be of their hand: the counsel of the depraved is much from me.

17 How oft is the candle of the depraved put out! and the way oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

18 They’re as stubble earlier than the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

19 God layeth up his iniquity for his kids: he rewardeth him, and he shall understand it.

20 His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

21 For what pleasure hath he in his home after him, when the variety of his months is minimize off within the midst?

KEY VERSE: “Wherefore do the depraved reside, develop into outdated, yea, are mighty in energy? They spend their days in wealth, and in a second go right down to the grave” (Job 21:7, 13).

Typically in our haste to move judgment on individuals who could also be going by confounding conditions, we soar to fallacious conclusions about them. We argue that if they’re struggling adversities, then their sins have to be nice. We imagine that God punishes folks in response to the magnitude of their transgressions. However God shouldn’t be man; He could in His sovereign will allow evil folks to prosper greater than believers.

This was the purpose Job sought to convey to his good friend, Zophar, who had concluded that Job was in nice misery due to his sins. However in his stout rebuttal, Job reminded him that the depraved do get pleasure from lengthy life. Their companies flourish and their days are spent in nice wealth.

Spared of instantaneous judgment for his or her sins, they push God apart and “need not the data of His methods”. Whereas he harassed that “the counsel of the depraved is much from me”, he was not oblivious that ultimately, the depraved will face destruction and expertise the wrath of the Almighty.

We should not be fast to move judgment on others, regardless of how grievous a sinner they might be. The reason being as a result of God does as He pleases with people. We must not ever fall into the temptation of utilizing the circumstances surrounding folks to measure how good or unhealthy they’re. Sinners who’re having fun with God’s beneficence should see it as a chance to repent. In the event that they fail, God will quickly come laborious on them with His fiery judgment.

Those that neglect God’s mercy now will face His judgment in eternity.
